Overview

We are looking for a Core Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to a Senior District Sales Manager in our School Sales Organization, the Sales Representative will drive PreK-12 sales across Western Massachusetts and Rhode Island by connecting with faculty and key stakeholders at school and district levels. The ideal candidate is an experienced communicator, highly organized, data-driven, quick to learn new technologies, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit—willing to seek, engage, and close business in a dynamic environment. Intellectual curiosity and an appreciation for educational institutions are key to success.

This is a remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts and authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will be doing:

  1. Attain and exceed sales goals by building strong customer relationships and expanding market penetration within the K-12 education space, including support for fragile populations.
  2. Create and execute strategic territory and marketing plans, prioritizing customer needs and ensuring visibility and promotional activities.
  3. Develop and maintain customer profiles; identify and influence needs while building new contacts for long-term growth.
  4. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to shape strategies and craft competitive solutions.
  5. Utilize multiple software platforms and tools; conduct research and apply learnings to improve performance.
  6. Collaborate with internal partners remotely, traveling up to 75% by ground, managing resources responsibly.

We are looking for someone with:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in K-12 education, or teaching experience
  3. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  4. Ability to collaborate, adapt to change, and maintain a success-driven mindset
  5. Proficiency in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  6. Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, and lift up to 50 lbs
  7. Valid driver’s license and physical capacity for field responsibilities
