Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Sales Inspector in Utah, offering a path to a lucrative, commission-based sales career backed by a trusted pest control brand. You’ll perform full-home inspections, explain findings, and close sales while managing appointments with a company-provided iPad.

Ideal candidates bring sales experience, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days. A high school diploma and the willingness to work in varied conditions are required.

Qualifications

• Sales or related experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and access crawl spaces and attics.
• Company provides PPE and safety equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Close sales by showcasing value, protection, and long-term benefits of Orkin's services.

• Conducting full-home inspections (from attic to crawl space)
• Build trust by explaining your findings clearly and recommending the best treatment options.

Minimum Requirements

• Sales, Account Management, Home Inspection, or Project Management experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
