Job summary

Horton is seeking a Sales Representative (Finance) to drive aftermarket parts sales across North America. You will build a strong customer base, promote genuine Horton parts, and manage opportunities with end users, distributors, and service providers.

The role emphasizes relationship building, achievement of sales targets, and leveraging ERP/CRM tools to forecast, quote, and close deals while traveling throughout North America as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in industrial products, construction products, building systems, automatic doors, commercial hardware, service sales, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with aftermarket parts sales, technical sales, customer service, or inside sales preferred.
  • Experience working within integrated business systems environments, including ERP, CRM, eCommerce platforms, and email marketing systems is highly desirable.
  • Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) is a plus and will be considered an asset when supporting customers and channel partners across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow aftermarket parts sales in North America.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for replacement parts, upgrades, retrofit solutions, and related products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Contact customers regarding aging equipment, obsolete components, and recommended product upgrades.
  • Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and product recommendations based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with customer support, technical support, and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and technical product information.
  • Develop CRM and utilize ERP systems to manage customer activity, opportunities, forecasts, and order status.
  • Leverage ERP, eCommerce, CRM, and digital marketing platforms to support customer engagement, identify sales opportunities, manage product inquiries, and drive aftermarket parts sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to execute targeted customer outreach campaigns, product promotions, and parts lifecycle initiatives.
  • Achieve established sales goals, revenue targets, and margin objectives.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Conduct customer visits, virtual meetings, and product presentations as needed.
  • Stay informed on Horton products, replacement parts, competitive offerings, and industry trends.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns and support issue resolution to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with service sales, branch management, and field operations teams to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support company initiatives, promotions, and new product launches.

Sales Representative (Finance)

The Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative is an exciting new role created to help drive the next stage of growth for Horton's aftermarket parts business. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated sales professional to step into a newly created position, build a strong customer base, and truly make their mark across North America.

In this role, you will represent one of the most trusted names in the automatic door industry, selling high-quality Horton replacement parts, upgrades, and aftermarket solutions to customers who rely on our products every day. You will work with end users, facility managers, distributors, service providers, and branch locations to identify opportunities, solve customer needs, and deliver exceptional support.

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial products, construction products, building systems, automatic doors, commercial hardware, service sales, or related industries.

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular use of computer, phone, and office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift product samples, catalogs, or materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout North America as needed, including customer visits, industry events, distributor meetings, and training activities. Travel is expected to be approximately 30% or greater. International travel may be required 2-3 times a year.
  • Valid driver's license required.
