Pressure Connections is seeking a professional Sales Representative to expand our current customer base. This position requires a sales professional to maintain an existing territory and establish new opportunities for Pressure Connections in the Fluid Power Product industry. Each sales professional acts as a liaison on behalf of the company to properly represent the quality and ethics of the firm in each conversation and transaction. The ideal candidate will be a goal-oriented individual who can drive results, meet deadlines, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the industrial B2B sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creates new business through travel, calls, and emails and exceeds activity quota.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Adjust the content of sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume of prospective customers.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains professional technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and obtaining the Hydraulic Hose Certified Specialist certification within 1 year of hire.
