What you will do

  • Promote and sell Stryker Vocera products to meet customer needs as a K-12 Education Sales Representative.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities within a designated territory.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to advance deals through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Manage opportunities efficiently and with urgency.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in K-12 education sectors.
  • Deliver customer presentations and coordinate internal team involvement.
  • Utilize corporate resources effectively to maximize territory success.
  • Leverage relationships with approved resellers to identify new opportunities.
  • Drive sales growth by prospecting, acquiring new accounts, and expanding within existing accounts.
  • As an Account Manager, passionately promote Stryker products that foster safer educational environments.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 5+ years of professional experience, with sales and marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong executive presence, influencing skills, negotiation abilities, and a track record of closing sales.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders over six months or longer.
  • Proven ability to convert leads into relationships and closed deals; self-motivated.
  • Creativity and innovation skills.

Physical Requirements

Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movements; ability to grasp objects; meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, reading, and memory retention.

Mental Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially in stress, people, and conflict management.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independence.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; capable of presenting to large groups.
  • Strong time management skills; ability to complete tasks independently.
