Sales Representative (SR)
As a Sales Representative (SR) with BCBSWY, you are critical to effectively guiding potential members, and active members through the product decision-making process, application, enrollment, as well as supporting/servicing member utilization of BCBSWY assigned products and services.
Make a difference by stepping into responsibility for the positive full sales cycle from prospecting, cultivating, securing, and maintaining member sales with a focus on individual sales of products and services as assigned (e.g., Individual Marketplace (ACA), Medicare Advantage, etc.)
Accountabilities include meeting performance measures, acquiring and maintaining an active Wyoming license, in-depth knowledge of BCBSWY products, services and any applicable regulation.
As a member of the Sales Team and an employee of BCBSWY, you are an integral member of our operational organization. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless service in handing-off potential members and/or group clients to other sales team members as may be appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will need solid human relations skills, strong time management and prioritization capabilities, knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools (e.g., Salesforce) , sales acumen enabling results and success in alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, assigned production levels and targets.
Minimum qualifications include a current Wyoming State Insurance license ( if unlicensed at hire, Wyoming State license MUST be within 60 days of hire date) and maintained in good standing thereafter. NOTE: High School Diploma or GED, 2 years prior sales, customer service, or other role working directly with members of the public, and an active Driver's License.
There may be evening and weekend hours on a periodic basis and moderate in-state travel, with some overnight travel possible.
Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Depending on the department and the position, eligible employees may be offered limited In-Office/WFH flexibility (for those positions that are offered limited WFH, there will be a required number of In-Office days per week/month depending on department). Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.
