Blue Cross Blue Shield Wyoming is seeking a Building and Grounds Technician to help maintain and enhance the appearance and safety of our Wyoming facilities for members, employees, and the public. As a Building and Grounds Technician with the BCBSWY Building and Grounds Team, you will play an essential role in ensuring best-in-class appearance or our facilities to members, employees, and members of the general public.
As a Building and Grounds Technician you will be responsible to maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a technician to be careful and thorough in working, repairing and maintaining the premises.
To be successful in this role, you will need attention to detail, reliability, good time management, strong work ethic, and adaptability. These qualities ensure that the work environment is consistently clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with 0-6 months of progressive work experience (typically in Building and Grounds).
This role will require occasional snow removal around doors, sidewalks and parking lots and minor experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Depending on the department and the position, eligible employees may be offered limited In-Office/WFH flexibility (for those positions that are offered limited WFH, there will be a required number of In-Office days per week/month depending on department). Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.
