Cahaba Restoration is looking for an experienced Loss Representative to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who understands the restoration and construction side of property losses and can confidently guide a project from the initial loss through the restoration process.

This role does include a sales and relationship-building component, but our main priority is finding someone with hands-on knowledge and experience in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate understands water, fire, mold, and storm-related losses, knows how restoration projects operate in the field, and is comfortable communicating with homeowners, insurance professionals, adjusters, and our production team.

Responsibilities

• Meet with property owners following water, fire, mold, storm, and other property losses
• Evaluate losses and help determine the appropriate scope of restoration work
• Understand the construction and restoration process from initial damage through completion
• Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, agents, and other parties throughout the project
• Help coordinate the transition from mitigation to reconstruction when needed
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, plumbers, contractors, and other referral partners
• Follow up on leads and help turn qualified opportunities into restoration projects
• Work closely with Cahaba Restoration's mitigation, reconstruction, and office teams
• Maintain strong communication and provide an excellent customer experience throughout the loss

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in restoration, construction, property loss, or a closely related field is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of the restoration process and property damage
• Experience working with insurance-related losses is a major plus
• Knowledge of estimating, scopes of work, and restoration documentation is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with the sales and business-development side of the position
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple active opportunities
• Professional, personable, and confident working directly with customers
