AlphaHire is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial property restoration projects from initial loss assessment through reconstruction and final closeout.

The role requires coordinating mitigation, repairs, field operations, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, documentation, and customer communication across multiple active jobs while maintaining strong relationships with property owners and insurance representatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous project management experience within the property restoration industry is required.
  • Direct experience with water damage, fire damage, storm damage, mitigation, reconstruction, or insurance-related property restoration.
  • Proven ability to manage restoration projects from initial loss through reconstruction and final closeout.
  • Experience managing multiple active projects and jobsites simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of restoration workflows, construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and insurance representatives.
  • Familiarity with estimating, insurance supplements, change orders, invoicing, and restoration project documentation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage projects and priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be located near New Hampton, New York, or able to reliably commute to regional project sites.

  • Identify and resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, scope changes, and other project challenges.
  • Prepare and manage change orders, project updates, progress photos, and job documentation.
  • Assist with estimating, insurance supplements, invoicing, collections, and project closeout as needed.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout each job.
  • Ensure work complies with applicable safety requirements, project specifications, building standards, and restoration industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver a positive customer experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, and high-quality project execution.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial property restoration projects from initial loss assessment through reconstruction and final closeout. This position is responsible for coordinating mitigation, repairs, field operations, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, documentation, and customer communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has direct experience managing water, fire, storm, or other property damage restoration projects and understands the unique requirements of insurance-related restoration work. This role is well suited for a hands-on project manager who can independently manage multiple active jobs while maintaining strong communication with property owners, insurance representatives, field crews, and subcontractors.
