Metrohm USA in the Greater Chicago area is seeking a Titration Sales Representative to lead a Northern Illinois and Iowa territory, with remote work options and travel. You will drive the full sales cycle, build strong lab relationships, and tailor titration solutions across pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, and food sectors.

The role offers a base salary with commissions, 3+ years in technical sales, and a must-have Chemistry-related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• 3+ years of technical sales experience, preferably to analytical laboratories.
• Hands-on knowledge of titration equipment and related instruments.

What You’ll Do

As a Titration Sales Representative, you will:

• Develop and manage your own sales territory focused on titration solutions.
• Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing to exceed growth targets.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships in sectors such as pharma, chemicals, polymers, petrochemicals, personal care and food/beverage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences.
• Identify ways to streamline the sales process and maximize revenue.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably to analytical laboratories.
• Hands‑on knowledge or sales experience with titration equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus.
• Industry knowledge in pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, or related fields.

Earnings Potential

Enjoy a base salary with additional commission opportunities. Your offer will reflect your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to the team. $85,000 - $100,000. Pay range included here represents an estimated base pay range only.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a background check, education/employment verification, drug screening (including marijuana), and have an insurable driving record.
