Job summary

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned Arizona beverage wholesaler distributing a wide portfolio of beverages, including ABI beers, local craft beers, premium non-alcohol beverages, and wines and spirits. We are seeking a Sales Rep, Large Format to sell and present our suppliers' products to key accounts in an assigned territory.

You will organize daily sales calls, meet with account contacts, promote the product portfolio, and work to hit KPI targets while ensuring

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must have reliable transportation; vehicle allowance provided.
• Cell phone with data capability; phone allowance provided.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift over 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Organizes each day for daily sales calls.
• Meets with managers or order placers at accounts and assesses activity that may affect sales.
• Promotes the Hensley product portfolio and hits KPI targets.
• Merchandises products, ensures shelves are filled, and displays updated.
• Coordinates with BDM & Merchandiser on delivery needs and promotions.
• Books displays, places signs, and updates contest information.
• Sends orders and transmits all orders by 3:30 p.m.
• Debriefs stops with the manager at day end.

Position Summary:

As a Sales Rep, Large Format, you are responsible for selling and presenting Hensley's portfolio of products and services that represent all our suppliers. You will strategically and confidently sell company products to key accounts in an assigned territory.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Organizes each day for daily sales calls.
• Meets with the manager or individual responsible for placing orders at assigned accounts and assesses any changes or activity that has occurred which might effect sales
• Carries out Mobility/Account objectives established by management for promoting the Hensley product portfolio, making recommendations for increasing sales opportunities, and hitting KPI Targets.
• Merchandises products at each account, ensuring shelves are filled, product is faced back stock is rotated, shelf pricing is in conjunction with ads and current programs; and updates displays with fresh point of sell materials.
• Checks permanent POS to see that it is clean and in good working order and not in need of repair or replacement.
• Organizes back stock and repairs torn/damaged packaging. Manages all non-sellable items/breakage with store personnel’s approval. Regularly communicate with BDM & Merchandiser about delivery needs and display opportunities booked.
• Takes inventory and discusses order with buyer, ensuring maximization of quantity discounts and every day low price, as required in corporate accounts.
• Uses selling skills to book displays and shelf sets, place POS, and place new packages.
• Sends orders, requests signs, updates Mobility, completes surveys, checks MTC files, and updates contest information through handheld electronic notebook and periodically downloads information during the day; with all orders transmitted no later than 3:30 p.m.
• Debriefs all stops with manager at end of day.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous beverage industry sales experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Regularly required to lift and/or move up to (50) lbs and frequently lift over 100 lbs.
• Must have work weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must have reliable transportation, we will provide vehicle allowance.
• Must have a cell phone with data capability, we will provide cell phone allowance.
