Job summary

Munters is seeking a dedicated project leader to oversee the execution of initiatives across operations, manufacturing and production. You will coordinate with internal sales, engineering, production and service to deliver on time and within budget, while ensuring quality requirements are met.

You will define scope, costs and milestones with the project owner and monitor progress, addressing risks and changes as they arise.

Is responsible for the successful delivery of all work elements, ensuring compliance with the statutory and legislative requirements and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, to budget and according to quality requirements.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Serves as the primary contact during the design, manufacture, and field service phases of assigned projectsGains a comprehension of customer design requirements through the review of specifications, drawings and customer interface. With this knowledge, creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to changing needs and requirementsDefines project scope, cost estimates, goals and deliverables with collaboration from internal sales, engineering, production, quality and service groupsTracks performance identifies issues/roadblocks and implements corrective actions.Manages project contracts including managing risk of contractual obligations relating to projectsRuns project kick-off meetings effectively across all internal stakeholders with full understanding of milestonesEffectively communicates relevant project information to managementWorks w/ technical team to develop "turnover" documentation to engineering, production and service for manufacturing and servicing the equipmentEffective change order managementResponsible for scheduling and forecasting service revenueDevelops and delivers progress reports, proposals, required documentation as needed for project support.Provides guidance to PM1Manages day-to-day aspects of all assigned projectsManage day-to-day client interactionsProvides timely response to all project support requestsResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionUnderstanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfullyUnderstands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projectionsUnderstands pricing model and billing proceduresProactively manage project risk and develop mitigation plans and contingency strategiesFollows-up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoicesEnsures project legal documents are completed and signed on a timely basisEnsure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyKeeps track of lessons learned and share those lessons with managementUnderstands production processes and able to coordinate shipping schedule b/w internal and external customers clearlyAbility to manage service revenue at expected marginsTravel as needed in support of projects (30%, often batched)Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
