Job summary

Missouri Furniture is seeking energetic Sales Professionals to join our team in a high-energy showroom environment. We pride ourselves on outstanding client service and a broad selection of home furnishings including furniture, appliances, mattresses, and hot tubs.

As a sales professional you will greet clients, assess needs, present options with features and benefits, and guide customers from showroom to post-sale support. Flexible schedule and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Display high energy with a passion to succeed and to become a valued team member.
• Embrace training and continually improve knowledge.
• Self-motivated and strong team player.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven furniture sales experience and/or Interior Design knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Learn features and benefits of the products we carry, with the ability to share that knowledge with our clients.
• Greet clients, discover their wants and needs for their home, engage them with merchandise options - including features and benefits, and provide exceptional client service during and post-sale.
• Assist clients in designing spaces they'll absolutely love.
• Participate energetically in events and promotion opportunities for our clients.
• Organize and maintain an aspirational merchandise appearance in the showroom.
• Contribute positively to the sales goals of the Team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age

• Proven furniture sales experience and/or Interior Design knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
• Available 40 hours/week, with some evenings required, plus weekends and holidays to accommodate client shopping traffic.
