Job summary

Missouri Furniture in Jefferson City, MO is hiring energetic Sales Professionals to join Ashley Furniture Homestore's local network. You will greet clients, discuss their needs, and present furniture options with clear features and benefits to drive sales and client satisfaction.

The role requires an 40-hour week with evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll learn product lines, engage customers, assist in designing spaces they will love, participate in events, and help maintain an aspirational

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High energy with a passion to succeed and to become a valued team member.
• Willingness to learn and improve knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven furniture sales experience and/or interior design knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.
• Able to work a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Available 40 hours/week, with some evenings and weekends to accommodate client traffic.

Responsibilities

• Work a retail schedule which includes evenings shifts, weekends and most Holidays.
• Learn features and benefits of the products and share that knowledge with clients.
• Greet clients, assess their needs, present merchandise options and provide exceptional service during and after sale.
• Assist clients in designing spaces they'll absolutely love.
• Participate in events and promotions for clients.
• Organize and maintain an aspirational showroom appearance.
• Contribute positively to the sales goals of the team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
