Job Title: Porter

Department: Sales

Reports To: General Manager or General Sales Manager

SUMMARY

Moves and cleans vehicles, maintains vehicles in sound working condition, and assists the general manager as requested.

Essential Duties

1. Maintain the appearance and performance of new and used vehicle inventory by cleaning interiors and exteriors, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
2. Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and according to dealership standards.
3. Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris and salvageable scrap into containers and remove them from work areas.
4. Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
5. Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lots as needed.
6. Create key tags for vehicles.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
