Job description

Jade Company in Montgomery, Texas is looking for a professional and ambitious Sales Analyst. This is an in office position, not eligible for hybrid or work from home. An ideal candidate for the sales analyst position will support leadership, managers, and the overall sales organization. They're expected to research sales trends, evaluate sales performance, and identify areas for growth or potential areas of concern.

The right candidate can thrive in a fast-paced environment where day-to-day tasks may not be fully defined. Successful candidates will be comfortable and able to work independently and as a member of the team.

We are looking for people who are driven and have an enthusiastic attitude toward doing whatever is needed. As a small company, we sometimes wear many hats, so there is no “that’s not in my job description”. Additionally, you will need to be self-motivated and focused as we want employees that we can trust to get their jobs done.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, combine, and analyze data from multiple reports
  • Assess market trends, pricing, and strategy of competitors and other markets
  • Identify shopping and purchase trends of consumer base and target demographic
  • Create sales evaluation reports based on collected data
  • Using data pulled and analyzed, assist in developing sales plans and objectives
  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance
  • Determining sales potential and making recommendations
  • Forecasting demand, movement, and revenue
  • Follow current trends and communicate any changes that would/may impact supply and demand; communicate data backing this appropriately
  • Develop methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
  • Develop sales projections and forecasts for multiple programs throughout the year

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in sales analytics
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication; emphasis on presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Additional Skills (preferred but not required):

  • Prior experience in sales forecasting
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or similar role
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Sales Analyst
  • Familiar or prior working knowledge with Canva
