Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Sales Performance Manager in Chicago, IL to coach and mentor counter sales staff to drive revenue and performance across locations. You’ll act as an internal sales expert, partnering with Operations to measure and enhance revenue-generating activities, and develop training programs to raise knowledge and skills.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent), 2+ years of supervisory and sales experience, and willingness to travel about half

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1+ year supervisory experience OR Associate's degree plus 2+ years supervisory experience; OR High School diploma plus 4+ years supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2+ years progressive sales experience in a counter sales environment.
• Minimum 2+ years experience executing training initiatives and coaching sales professionals.
• Must have a valid driving license and be willing to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor counter sales staff to increase revenue.
• Assess revenue generation opportunities and implement training plans.
• Develop and maintain sales training materials and resources.
• Coordinate communications related to counter sales initiatives.
