Job description

We're hiring a Sales & Partnerships Manager to close new business through a full, consultative sales cycle and bring real structure to our partnerships channel - the referral relationships, integrations, and industry connections that are becoming an increasingly important growth engine for us.

This is not a role where you'll be handed a rigid playbook. You'll help build it. You'll work closely with our sales team on deal coverage and with our CEO directly on shaping how partnerships are tracked, measured, and grown. If you like ambiguity, enjoy owning a lane end-to-end, and want your fingerprints on how a growing company scales its go-to-market - this could be a great job for you.

As our partnerships channel grows, this role has real room to evolve. For the right person, that could mean growing into a dedicated, full-time Partnerships role over time. Where this goes will depend on the size of the opportunity and on your own strengths and interests as they emerge.

What You'll Do

Sales (roughly 60% of the role)

  • Run full-cycle sales conversations with nonprofit prospects from discovery through demo through close
  • Deliver product demos that speak the language of development directors, executive directors, and event committees, not generic SaaS pitch decks
  • Work alongside our sales team to ensure consistent coverage across our pipeline, and be capable of stepping into deals independently when needed
  • Bring a consultative, practitioner-informed approach - you understand what actually matters to a nonprofit fundraising team, not just what closes a deal

Partnerships (roughly 40% of the role)

  • Build structure around our existing and emerging partner relationships (nonprofit consultants, benefit auctioneers, event planners, software integration partners), most of which today live informally in founder relationships and inboxes
  • Design and own metrics: partner-sourced pipeline, activation rates, referral conversion - and put a lightweight system in place to track them
  • Represent us in partner-facing relationships, including with existing strategic partners, and help grow those relationships in a way that isn't dependent on any single person
  • Identify new partnership opportunities in the nonprofit tech and services ecosystem
  • Represent us in person at industry conferences, partner events, and key relationship meetings - this role includes regular travel

What We're Looking For

  • Nonprofit sector fluency. You've worked with, sold to, or worked inside nonprofits, and you understand the rhythms of a fundraising calendar, the pressure development staff are under, and why "just add another platform" is a hard sell
  • Sales experience with a consultative style. You can run a demo and close a deal, but you lead with genuine curiosity about the prospect's problem, not a script
  • Some partnership, business development, or relationship-building experience. You know how to build a relationship that compounds over time, not just work a contact list
  • Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment. You'll have real ownership from day one, which means some ambiguity - this isn't a fit for someone who wants a fully built process handed to them
  • Energy and presence. You're personable, quick on your feet in a room (or on a Zoom), and genuinely enjoy talking to people - this role is relationship-driven by design
  • Existing relationships or credibility in the nonprofit tech/fundraising ecosystem are a strong plus, but not required
  • Willing and able to travel regularly (estimate: 20-30% of the time) for conferences, partner meetings, and industry events
