The role emphasizes relationship-building, accurate order handling in AS400/SAP, and attention to detail across the sales cycle, with a strong customer-centric mindset in a dynamic metal products environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of prior sales or industry experience.
• Customer-centric mentality and service focus.
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
• Positive attitude and driven by excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Quickly building strong relationships with internal Ryerson employees and external vendors throughout the US.
• Creating and modifying orders within AS400/SAP.
• Wear multiple hats and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Keep internal employees informed about order tracking and lead times during sales process.
• Use critical thinking to solve problems to deliver product within timeframes.
• Maintain detailed records of tracking material and activities.
