Job summary

Penske in La Mirada, CA is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee who will use a degree to run a business, solve problems for customers and help drive success in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn Penske sales processes, technology and culture through training and mentoring, collaborate with a high-energy team, and enjoy a competitive hourly wage starting at 27.88 with weekend differential and a clear path to advancement after 6–9 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Results oriented with attention to detail and good time management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26' box truck.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts, including Fortune 500.
• Manage large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
