Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support the Director of Sales in Managing National Accounts, Analyzing Data, and overseeing overall Sales Operations. The Sales Operations Specialist's primary purpose will be to help our National Accounts in all areas of business, including, but not limited to, account management, sales data analytics and trends, and account‑specific initiatives. The Sales Operations Specialist will manage the day‑to‑day tactical sales data and reporting while supporting and guiding the Moultrie sales team. This position is a pivotal role that bridges strategy planning and on‑the‑ground execution for Moultrie by driving our go‑to‑market strategy. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Support: Partner with the Director of Sales to manage national account operations, including samples, assortments, inventory, costing, and line reviews.
  • Data & Forecasting Collaboration: Work with data analysts and forecasting teams to optimize inventory (WOS), order flow, pricing, and promotional planning.
  • Portal & EDI Management: Maintain item data across partner portals (Retail Link, Atlas, DSCO, SPS Commerce) and support EDI/drop ship implementation.
  • Product Setup & Compliance: Coordinate with product teams to ensure accurate item setup, documentation, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Monitor and update sales goals, processes, and tools (Tableau, Asana) to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Calendar & Reporting: Maintain sales calendars, budgets, and promotional schedules; prepare reports on sales performance and growth opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Meeting & Communication Ownership: Lead internal and customer‑facing meeting logistics, including weekly sales meetings.
  • Pricing & Content Accuracy: Conduct daily price matrix reviews and audit e‑commerce platforms for accuracy.
  • Item Setup Ownership: Manage all aspects of item setup, including pricing, order writers, and setup documentation
Job Requirements
  • 4 years' degree from an accredited college or university. (In lieu of a degree, candidates with equivalent work experience may be considered.)
  • 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record of successfully servicing key customers.
  • Experience at Academy, Bass Pro Shops, Tractor Supply, and Walmart is a plus.
  • Strong customer relations background; preference in the Outdoor or Sporting Goods industry
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
