Job summary

Kaufman Hall is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Sales Operations to support proposal development and reviews for the Consulting BU. The role balances contract drafting, pricing configuration, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Sales Ops to ensure accurate, timely proposals while driving efficiency and risk mitigation across opportunities in Denver or Chicago.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of contracting and pricing / deal configuration experience in business operations or sales enablement
• CRM experience – Microsoft Dynamics preferred
• High proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Time management skills with multiple contracts and deadlines
• Strong customer service focus and professional demeanor
• Teamwork and organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment with sensitive material

Responsibilities

• Support development, editing, formatting, and quality review of client-facing proposals, statements of work, contracts, and sales materials
• Draft, edit, and review contracts supporting Consulting project sales opportunities
• Collaborate with Legal contract review team to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
• Ensure alignment between proposals and CRM opportunity details (pricing, scope, delivery plan)
• Facilitate proposal review and approval processes by Consulting leadership
• Manage stakeholder communications and status updates across teams
• Utilize CRM and document management systems to improve workflows and cycle times
• Maintain approved proposal language and standard contract templates
• Document key processes in SOPs and job aids
