Job summary

Everfox is hiring a Sales Operations Manager (Business Systems Analyst) for a hybrid role in Herndon, VA, with some travel to support GTM processes. You will optimize CPQ configurations and SKU operations across Salesforce, Oracle, and DocuSign, collaborating with Sales, Enablement, Product, Services, and Finance.

You will partner with the GTM Systems team to translate requirements into technical specs, drive improvements, and manage cross-functional projects with post-deployment support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Business Systems with 2+ years with Salesforce developers.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ, data models, reporting and dashboards.
• Salesforce Admin cert is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce reports; SOQL/SQL a plus.
• Excellent communication, highly organized, and confidentiality focus.

Responsibilities

Scope of Role

We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2-3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office. Everfox will consider reasonable accommodation as required by law. This combined Sales Operations Manager and Business Systems Analyst role is an individual contributor responsible for optimizing and supporting the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) processes. This role is primarily focused on CPQ tool enhancements and troubleshooting and SKU Operations support for the Product Management and Finance teams. Ideally, you have diverse experience with Sales Operations support for complex sales cycles, government procurement processes, and strict compliance requirements. You should also be comfortable providing direction to developers and cross-functional stakeholders on CPQ configuration best practices and industry-specific quoting needs. You will work with fellow Sales Operations Managers and IT Project Managers to ensure data integrity and process optimization across platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, and DocuSign while gathering requirements to drive process improvements and managing cross-functional projects. You will collaborate with Sales, Enablement, Product, Services, Finance, and other stakeholders to define system requirements, enhance workflows, and deliver actionable insights to support strategic priorities. You will work closely with the GTM Systems team to create JIRA tickets, review solution designs, test across sandbox environments, and support post-deployment hyper care.

Primary Revenue Operations Focus Areas

CPQ SKU Operations Product Operations Order Management Quote and Purchase Order Approvals

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce.com and CPQ, and integrations to related tools including Oracle and DocuSign.
• Work closely with the Pricing Desk, Deal Desk, and Order Management teams to troubleshoot high priority, revenue-impacting quoting and Order processing errors.
• Perform root cause analysis, prioritize issues for escalation to GTM Systems, and, where possible, resolve independently and document short-term fixes ahead of shepherding system solutions.
• Maintain SKU addition/update intake process, manage regular Price Book updates, and own the SKU deployment schedule.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders about Product and SKU Operations best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and drive improvement projects from concept to execution, including thorough testing of system changes.
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Sales tools, acting as the primary point of contact for questions and enhancement ideas.
• Understand how Salesforce workflows support GTM processes and how to optimize data capture and reporting needs.
• Develop documentation and support materials that define process and expectations for use of system, tools, or general rules of engagement.
• Support specialized in-depth data analysis activities using tools like Salesforce, and Excel to support sales performance and strategic goals.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives to streamline complex deal structures and procurement workflows unique to government and enterprise clients.
• Support training and change management efforts to ensure user adoption of new systems, tools, or processes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Business Systems, with at least 2 years working directly with Salesforce developers.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com, including CPQ, data models, reporting, and dashboards.
• A Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus but is not required as we have a team of Admins in house.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce reports and dashboards; SOQL or SQL skills are an advantage.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various departments and levels.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business data.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with government clients and government procurement processes, including RFPs (highly preferred but not required).
• Experience with Packaged Offers (Product Bundles) and Hardware and Perpetual Software license sales.
• Curiosity and ideas (ideally, case studies or pilot programs you have recommended or executed) about how to utilize AI to create efficiencies in your and Sales Reps’ day-to-day work and increase revenue generation for the company.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $102,700.00-137,900.00 USD. The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidate's unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
