Job summary

Stowers Machinery Corporation in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to support quoting, billing, and delivery for compact equipment. You will bridge sales, service, transportation, and inventory to keep processes efficient and customers satisfied.

You’ll generate quotes, process billing, coordinate demos, and ensure machines are prepped and delivered. Strong coordination, communication, and proficiency with Office, Salesforce, and DBS are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Four year degree required in business administration, supply chain management or related field; relevant work experience can replace education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve goals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficient with math for calculations and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication, remaining clear under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotes for new compact machines.
• Process billing for new compact machine sales.
• Coordinate demo setups and no-charge agreements.
• Collaborate with service and transportation teams to ensure machines are prepped and delivered.
• Work with yard personnel to facilitate machine prep and customer pickups.
• Monitor no-charge inventory and follow up with sales reps for timely resolution.
• Review work orders for cost accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain expertise in OEM and partner marketing programs; apply incentives and secure approvals for claims.
• Communicate regularly with the inventory management team regarding machine needs and sales trends.
• Assist walk-in customers and respond to inbound customer calls.
