Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst Intern to strengthen the infrastructure behind its growing commercial team in South San Francisco. You will work on projects that make sales data more useful, processes more scalable, and decisions easier to make.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other partners while learning how a high‑growth company builds its go‑to‑market engine. This is a full‑time, in‑person internship with compensation and benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study in business, economics, analytics, marketing, operations, engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with data.
• Curiosity about sales organizations and willingness to learn new tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to summarize analysis.

Responsibilities

• Audit, standardize, and enrich CRM records to improve data quality and trust in reporting.
• Support recurring pipeline, forecast, and funnel reporting; identify trends in stage movement, aging, coverage, and conversion.
• Build account lists, market maps, and research briefs to prioritize prospects and whitespace.
• Document and improve sales processes, including lead routing and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate cross‑functional Sales Operations initiatives by tracking milestones, owners, risks, and next steps.
• Create dashboards, analysis, playbooks, and enablement materials for sales and leadership.
• Identify repetitive work and explore automation or AI‑enabled improvements.
