We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide clients with several options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales.
- Build rapport & trust with clients.
- Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
- Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day for prompt follow-up.
- Convert leads into prospects via estimates.
- Receive company-provided leads based on performance and availability.
- No door knocking required.
- Enter lead information into CRM accurately, including notes, and ensure proper tagging.
- Research specialty items & sourcing prior to estimates.
- Present roofing options, styles, & payment plans to prospects.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Notify management of customer issues or concerns.
- Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns.
- Implement marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop your own strategies for approval.
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans.
- Grow market share and maximize territory performance.
- Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability through ongoing education.
- Keep current on material pricing & availability due to market changes.
- Accurately complete contracts & legal documents.
- Develop a personal routine that aligns with SOPs and your work style.
- Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales is a plus.
- Professional, able to network, and loves conversation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong grammar (verbal & written) & math skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and a tenacious drive to sell.
- Proven accuracy & safety-consciousness.
- Sales tracking and analysis skills.
- Competitive drive and desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as required.
- Ability to learn and utilize CRM software; manage jobs effectively.
- Intermediate computer/technological skills.
- Ability to work well interdepartmentally and independently with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs, and perform physical activities with accommodations if needed.
