We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide clients with several options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales.
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients.
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
  4. Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day for prompt follow-up.
  5. Convert leads into prospects via estimates.
  6. Receive company-provided leads based on performance and availability.
  7. No door knocking required.
  8. Enter lead information into CRM accurately, including notes, and ensure proper tagging.
  9. Research specialty items & sourcing prior to estimates.
  10. Present roofing options, styles, & payment plans to prospects.
  11. Provide an exceptional customer experience.
  12. Notify management of customer issues or concerns.
  13. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns.
  14. Implement marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop your own strategies for approval.
  15. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
  16. Prepare & execute daily sales plans.
  17. Grow market share and maximize territory performance.
  18. Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability through ongoing education.
  19. Keep current on material pricing & availability due to market changes.
  20. Accurately complete contracts & legal documents.
  21. Develop a personal routine that aligns with SOPs and your work style.
  22. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales is a plus.
  2. Professional, able to network, and loves conversation.
  3. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  4. Strong grammar (verbal & written) & math skills.
  5. Strong negotiation skills and a tenacious drive to sell.
  6. Proven accuracy & safety-consciousness.
  7. Sales tracking and analysis skills.
  8. Competitive drive and desire for continuous improvement.
  9. Ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as required.
  10. Ability to learn and utilize CRM software; manage jobs effectively.
  11. Intermediate computer/technological skills.
  12. Ability to work well interdepartmentally and independently with minimal supervision.
  13. Aligned with our R.O.O.F.S values and mission.
  14. Must be able to lift 75 lbs, and perform physical activities with accommodations if needed.
