We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
- Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers
- Convert leads to prospects using provided estimates
- Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
- No door knocking required
- Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes, and ensure proper tagging
- Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
- Present roofing styles & payment options to prospects
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Notify management of customer issues or concerns
- Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns
- Implement marketing strategies and develop your own with approval
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans
- Grow market share and maximize territory performance
- Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability
- Keep current on materials pricing & availability due to market changes
- Accurately complete contracts and legal documents
- Develop routines and processes that suit your work style and meet SOPs
- Attend weekly and scheduled meetings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales a plus
- Professional, able to network, and loves conversation
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire for customer satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar and math skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a drive to sell
- Proven accuracy and safety focus
- Sales tracking and analysis skills
- Competitive spirit and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
- Ability to learn and use CRM software; manage jobs effectively
- Intermediate computer/technological skills
- Team-oriented and able to work interdepartmentally
- Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- Self-managed and able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently with accommodations if needed
