We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
  4. Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers
  5. Convert leads to prospects using provided estimates
  6. Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
  7. No door knocking required
  8. Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes, and ensure proper tagging
  9. Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
  10. Present roofing styles & payment options to prospects
  11. Ensure an exceptional customer experience
  12. Notify management of customer issues or concerns
  13. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns
  14. Implement marketing strategies and develop your own with approval
  15. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
  16. Prepare & execute daily sales plans
  17. Grow market share and maximize territory performance
  18. Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability
  19. Keep current on materials pricing & availability due to market changes
  20. Accurately complete contracts and legal documents
  21. Develop routines and processes that suit your work style and meet SOPs
  22. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales a plus
  2. Professional, able to network, and loves conversation
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a desire for customer satisfaction
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar and math skills
  5. Strong negotiation skills with a drive to sell
  6. Proven accuracy and safety focus
  7. Sales tracking and analysis skills
  8. Competitive spirit and continuous improvement mindset
  9. Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
  10. Ability to learn and use CRM software; manage jobs effectively
  11. Intermediate computer/technological skills
  12. Team-oriented and able to work interdepartmentally
  13. Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude
  14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
  15. Self-managed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  16. Aligned with our R.O.O.F.S Values and Mission Statement
  17. Must be able to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently with accommodations if needed
