Position Overview

Patient Enrollment Specialist

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Patient Enrollment Specialist to help prospective patients and families get started with care.

This role combines phone sales, relationship building, patient intake, and enrollment coordination. The Patient Enrollment Specialist will speak with prospective patients and families, explain available services, convert qualified leads into enrolled clients, and guide them through each step of the intake and onboarding process.

The ideal candidate is a strong phone salesperson who is goal‑oriented, organized, persuasive, and committed to providing an excellent experience from the first conversation through successful enrollment.

Key Responsibilities – Patient Outreach & Sales

• Speak with prospective patients and families about available services.
• Respond to incoming leads and conduct consistent follow‑up.
• Build relationships with prospective patients and understand their individual needs.
• Clearly explain services, enrollment requirements, and next steps.
• Convert qualified leads into successfully enrolled clients.
• Address questions and concerns that may arise during the enrollment process.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospective patients and families.
• Work toward individual enrollment and performance goals.

Intake & Enrollment

• Guide patients and families through the intake and onboarding process from beginning to end.
• Assist with collecting necessary information and documentation.
• Ensure enrollment requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Track each prospective patient through the enrollment pipeline.
• Follow up on incomplete information or outstanding enrollment requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient and lead records.

Care Coordination

• Coordinate with care, staffing, and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from enrollment to services.
• Communicate important patient information to the appropriate team members.
• Help prevent delays by proactively identifying and addressing enrollment issues.
• Maintain ownership of each enrollment until the patient is successfully transitioned to the appropriate care team.
