Location: Long Island, NY (On-site only)

Reports to: President (of the Portfolio Company)

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 / year (commensurate with experience)

Compensation: Competitive salary + performance-based bonus

We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales & Marketing Manager to lead commercial execution across sales, marketing, and government contracting. This is a high-impact role where you’ll wear multiple hats, driving both business development and execution alongside a small, committed team.

The ideal candidate brings experience in technical B2B sales and is comfortable selling into industrial and public safety markets. Experience in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sector, Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), or related fields such as industrial inspection technologies or law enforcement-focused sales is highly desirable, though not required.

This is a practical, cross-functional role for a self-starter who enjoys both structure and iteration.

Key Responsibilities: Sales (Domestic & International – B2B, Industrial & Government Focus)

  • Lead sales execution across inbound, outbound, and distributor/OEM channels.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline across target customer segments.
  • Qualify, pursue, and close deals in complex sales environments with technical buyers.
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM (Zoho or equivalent) and produce relevant reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical and leadership teams on pricing, demos, and proposals.
  • Government & Public Safety SalesPrepare and submit RFP/RFQ responses; manage vendor registration.
  • Build and nurture relationships with contracting officers, procurement teams, and government end-users.
  • Monitor bid portals (e.g., SAM.gov) and coordinate timely submissions.
  • Support compliance tracking and post-award requirements.

Marketing Execution

  • Lead both the strategic planning and hands-on execution of marketing campaigns for existing and new products, aiming to drive revenue across core verticals (industrial, public safety, government).
  • Coordinate trade show participation, logistics, and post-show follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update brochures, technical documentation, product sheets, and sales presentations.
  • Launch targeted outbound email and digital campaigns in collaboration with the Client's marketing team.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence and messaging across all customer-facing channels.

Qualifications:

  • EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Certifications in government procurement, industrial inspection, or marketing strategy.
  • Experience8–12 years in B2B sales, marketing, or public sector contracting.
  • Experience in NDT, RVI, industrial inspection, surveillance, or security/safety technology sales is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with public safety, tactical, or law enforcement procurement environments is valued.
  • Demonstrated success in small or entrepreneurial teams is preferred.
  • SkillsStrong understanding of government procurement and technical sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in CRMs (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly.
  • Highly accountable and hands-on.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus.

Pay Range: $90,000 – $120,000 / year

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
