Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Sales & Client Acquisition Manager to oversee our sales, client consultation, and intake operations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving conversion rates, optimizing the client pipeline, managing external marketing agency partnerships, and ensuring a seamless experience for potential clients from initial contact through onboarding.
As a hands-on leader, you will own CRM systems, train and manage a dedicated sales/intake team, and step directly into consultative sales calls when needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong emotional intelligence, and brings a proven track record in consultative, high-trust professional services (e.g., legal, healthcare, or human-services).
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with organizational growth goals.
- Own end-to-end lead handling, pipeline management, consultation, and client onboarding workflows.
- Establish metrics, track sales KPIs, analyze conversion data, and build accurate revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, growth planning, and process optimization.
- Partner directly with external marketing agencies to align campaign messaging with sales goals.
- Track marketing-sourced lead quality and conversion metrics to optimize ad spend and lead flow.
- Ensure a smooth transition for prospective clients moving from marketing channels to sales consultation.
Team & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and manage day-to-day operations for the sales and intake team.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, monitor individual performance metrics, and build a culture of accountability and empathy.
- Create and update scripts, consultation frameworks, and ongoing sales training modules.
- Oversee team onboarding to ensure new hires become fully productive independently.
- Act as the super-user and administrator for CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Lawmatics) to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain direct active involvement in sales processes by stepping in to cover consultations, resolve client escalations, and handle peak call volumes when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in consultative sales and team leadership within high-trust, professional, or legal services.
- Direct experience with legal intake workflows, professional services CRM platforms (HubSpot, Lawmatics, or similar), and lead pipeline tracking.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive client conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong analytical, system-management, and problem-solving skills.
