Job summary

APP, one of the world’s largest integrated paper groups, with over 100,000 employees delivering products to more than 150 countries, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales development and drive new customer acquisition and sales volume growth across the Southern US.

This is an Individual Contributor, hunter-focused role responsible for developing new business, acquiring customers, expanding the customer base, and driving volume growth for our tissue product portfolio.

You will represent a global industry leader committed to sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.

• Regional Strategy: Develop and execute the sales strategy for Southern US to grow market share and business volume.
• Customer Relationships: Build strong partnerships with tissue companies, converters, distributors, and key accounts across the region.
• Market Development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities across emerging and established markets.
• Market Insights: Monitor market activity, customer needs, and market trends to support strategic decisions.

What You Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in commercial roles within the relevant industry, ideally with experience in the Tissue industry. Candidates with Away-from-Home or Consumer Tissue experience are preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of tissue converters in the region. Understanding of B2C Tissue Finished Goods and customer expectations is preferred in order to build strong relationships with end users.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Mindset: Adaptable, hands-on, growth-oriented, and commercially driven.
• Independence: Comfortable managing a multi-state region and working in a fast-paced environment.
