Job summary

AT&T in Hoover, Alabama, is seeking a Sales Manager – Sales System Engineer to lead a team of Technical Sales Consultants and drive successful integration and implementation of AT&T products and solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years of direct work experience with at least 1 year in leadership, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to meet sales goals while managing pre/post-sale support and team development.

Directs and supervises a group of Technical Sales Consultants to assure successful customer integration and implementation of company products, services and solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supports Company strategy by ensuring Company sales goals are achieved through proper determination of how the company can meet customer requirements and system configurations within time and cost constraints.
• Plans and allocates work among the technical support team to ensure quality pre/post sale support on integration and implementation of Company products/services/systems/solutions.
• Ensures technical support team members are kept up-to-date on new Company products and enhancements to existing products.
• Maintains extensive knowledge of engineering and complex aspects of Company products and services.
• Manages the work efforts of individual contributor direct reports and influences hire/fire, performance appraisal, and pay review decisions.
• Responsible for coaching and developing direct report subordinates.

Education:

• Requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Experience:

• Typically requires 5 to 8 years direct work experience and one year leadership responsibility
