Legends GLOBAL in El Paso operates four water parks and seeks a Full-Time Sales Manager focused on group sales, park rentals, and season pass growth. You will develop annual sales plans, secure new business, and maintain client relationships across multiple venues.

The role requires at least 3 years in high-volume sales within hospitality or waterparks, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak season.

• Builds relationships with local businesses, schools, military organizations, nonprofits, churches, and community groups to identify sales opportunities.
• Increases group sales, private park rentals, birthdays, corporate events and other revenue-generating experiences.
• Re-contacts previous clients to generate repeat business and actively prospects new leads.
• Manages sales from inquiry to proposal, contracting, booking, coordination and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinates booked groups with departments to ensure all details meet contractual and operational needs.
• Identifies opportunities for corporate sponsorships and partnerships with leadership and Marketing.
• Drives attendance and participation through outreach to businesses, schools, and organizations.

Position Summary

Legends GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Full-Time Sales Manager role that would focus on group sales, park rentals, and increasing season pass sales for all 4 of Destination El Paso’s, El Paso Waterpark locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and executes an annual sales strategy for all four El Paso Water Parks, establishing sales priorities, target markets, revenue opportunities, and action plans to achieve established sales goals.
• Develops and maintains relationships with local businesses, schools, military organizations, nonprofits, churches, community organizations, and other prospective clients to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Increases group sales, private park rentals, birthday celebrations, corporate events, and other approved revenue-generating business across all four El Paso Water Parks.
• Reconnects with previous clients and groups to generate repeat business while proactively prospecting, cold calling, networking, and following up with new prospective clients.
• Manages sales opportunities from initial inquiry through proposal, contracting, booking, operational coordination, and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinates booked groups and private events with appropriate departments, ensuring event details, client expectations, contractual requirements, and operational needs are accurately communicated.
• Identifies and develops corporate sponsorship and partnership revenue opportunities in collaboration with Water Parks leadership, Community Engagement Manager, and Marketing.
• Conducts outreach to businesses, schools, churches, organizations, companies, and other groups to drive attendance and maximize group participation in Water Parks programs, events, and experiences.
• Maintains an active sales pipeline and accurate sales records; monitors bookings, revenue, repeat business, conversion, and other established performance measures and provides regular performance updates and forecasts to Water Parks leadership.
• Identifies opportunities to grow revenue through new sales packages, products, add-ons, partnerships, and utilization of available park capacity.
• Collaborates with the Community Engagement Manager, Marketing, Food & Beverage, Site Management, Finance, Servicing and other departments to support sales initiatives and successful delivery of booked experiences.
• Seeks out and represents El Paso Water Parks at appropriate Chamber events, networking functions, community events, client meetings, and other business-development opportunities.
• Maintains ongoing client relationships and provides a high level of hospitality throughout the sales and booked-event experience.
• Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• College education or equivalent
• Guest Service, Sales/Marketing prior experience, education, and/or combination of both is desired.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in high volume group sales for a hospitality, theme park, or waterpark company.

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED-College Education preferred.
• Extremely organized
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Willing to research, cold call, follow up on leads for any potential group business, corporate partners, entertainment, etc.
• Positive, self-starter.
• Must successfully complete and pass a background, credit check, and sex offender check.
• Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
• Willingness to work long hours during the Waterpark Season – including nights, weekends, and holidays.
