Home Brands Group LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a 15-person Design Consultant team across Charlotte, Greenville, and Asheville. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone moving from top individual contributor to people management.

You will coach through ride-alongs and 1:1s, set sales standards, build consistent processes, and communicate with senior leadership to align three markets.

Qualifications

• 3 years sales leadership experience.
• Proven top-performer track record in a Design Consultant or comparable sales role.
• Strong communicator who can be direct and supportive at the same time.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Charlotte, Greenville, and Asheville.
• Must successfully pass a 50-state background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Design Consultants through ride-alongs, 1:1s, and weekly performance check-ins.
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to sales standards and activity metrics.
• Build consistent processes and visibility across Charlotte, Greenville, and Asheville without micromanaging remote markets.
• Diagnose performance gaps — distinguishing skill issues from will issues and build improvement plans.
• Lead difficult conversations directly and professionally, including with former peers now reporting to you.
• Partner with People Ops and leadership on performance management and team structure decisions.
• Run team meetings and represent the Carolina markets' voice to senior leadership.
