Job summary

Desimone Gaming in Henderson, NV is seeking a Sales Manager to build a client base through inside and outside sales at Holiday Inn Express - Henderson.

Negotiate rates, plan events, and work with hotel teams to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Requires 2–3 years in hospitality sales and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Goals.
• Plan and develop agendas, budgets, and services per client requirements.
• Arrange and conduct special events. Manage any tear down.
• Monitors event activities to ensure client satisfaction and resolution of any problems that arise.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Interact with outside contacts. Guests and businesses must be followed up with to ensure their total satisfaction on events to ensure repeat business.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing a client base of individuals, organizations, and/or corporate businesses through direct inside and outside sales.

Actively prospect and qualify new business to achieve business financial goals as outlined by the Company. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Company and practices and procedures.

• Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Accurately produce all sales contracts, rate agreements.
• Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Goals
• Plan and develop agendas, budgets, and services per client requirements.
• Arrange and conduct special events. Manage any tear down.
• Monitors event activities to ensure client satisfaction and resolution of any problems that arise.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2 - 3 years of experience in Hospitality Sales
• Bachelors Degree in Hospitality, or related area of study

• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel, Micros system
• Experience with OPERA software a plus.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a similar setting.
• Some college in addition to 2 - 3 years related experience.
