Job summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing a client base of individuals, organizations, and/or corporate businesses through direct inside and outside sales. Actively prospect and qualify new business to achieve business financial goals as outlined by the Company. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Company and practices and procedures.Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Accurately produce all sales contracts, rate agreements.Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales GoalsPlan and develop agendas, budgets, and services per client requirements.Arrange and conduct special events. Manage any tear down.Monitors event activities to ensure client satisfaction and resolution of any problems that arise.Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.Interact with outside contacts. Guests and businesses must be followed up with to ensure their total satisfaction on events to ensure repeat business.Develop and implement sales plans.
