Job summary

SCI seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in Seattle. You will drive location quotas, train counselors, and ensure compliance with policies while building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of sales leadership, ability to coach, and solid knowledge of CRM and MS Office tools. This role offers a commission-based incentive structure and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Sales management experience of 3–5 years is required; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate salespeople and sales forces as part of leadership duties.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed established location sales quotas.
• Guide Sales Counselors to follow training manuals and company policies.
• Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to meet customer needs.
• Manage Sales Counselors as primary reference for aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, and closing.
• Develop marketing programs that fit local demographics and geography.
• Analyze competitor pricing and participate in community events to raise awareness.
• Review pre-need and at-need contracts for compliance with laws.
• Approve discounts and prepare financial compliance reports.
• Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, and sales equipment.
• Ensure programs, incentives, and awards conform to company policies.
• Ensure sales spaces and offices are clean and professional.
