Service Corporation International in Seattle seeks a results-driven Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Counselors and drive location sales performance. You will deliver ongoing training, coach the team, and oversee aftercare and customer service to exceed customer expectations.

The role requires a strong background in sales leadership, CRM usage, and the ability to manage marketing initiatives and budgets while ensuring compliance and professional conduct in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales management experience required.
• Sales counselor and supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in presenting, training, coaching and motivating salespeople.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Insurance license as required by state law.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based PC and MS Office.
• CRM knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work beyond standard business hours.
• Ability to set goals for employees.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed location sales quotas.
• Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to Sales Counselors.
• Manage Sales Counselors as primary reference regarding aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, and closing skills.
• Develop marketing programs that fit geography and community demographics.
• Review pre-need and at-need contracts for compliance with laws.
• Prepare reports demonstrating financial controls.
• Maintain marketing materials, sales equipment, and sales rooms.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and licensing.
