Participate in on-the-job training experiences for the Sales Manager role, learn new skills about senior living, and demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise in sales and marketing responsibilities within the Brookdale organization. The Brookdale Bench Program prepares you to assume the Sales Manager role at one of our communities.Maintain or improve community occupancy levels in accordance with marketing and business plans. Utilize established sales processes, systems, and forms to perform job duties, track information, compile data and reports, and achieve occupancy goals.
Manage the sales process by assisting prospective residents, their families, and advisors in decision-making. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, internet, or in person. Conduct follow-up calls, letters, and tours as per the marketing plan.
Coordinate and complete activities for sales, convert deposits to move-ins, and conduct assessments or sales presentations at prospects' homes or other locations. Ensure all forms are completed before move-in. Keep management informed of prospective move-ins and track pre-residency steps for communication.
Coordinate with the business development team weekly regarding efforts to meet or exceed lead and referral goals. Contact local sources such as legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, hospitals, and community groups. Manage business development activities in the absence of dedicated staff.
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and referral sources. Conduct presentations about community services and market advantages to meet prospective needs.
Manage community inventory effectively, seek opportunities to increase revenue, and participate in outside events and community involvement. Follow up on leads from these activities and execute the sales process.
Assist with resident retention through events, referral programs, and visits. Collaborate with management on marketing plans and community occupancy targets. Research and recommend content for promotional materials.
Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and report weekly and monthly. Maintain knowledge of lead management systems and input all activities timely and accurately.
