Job summary

One Degree Ag is seeking a boots-on-the-ground Animal Nutrition Sales professional to grow business by building trust at the farm gate and working with independent dairy consultants. This remote role offers high autonomy with strong internal support and long-term growth potential across NE Indiana and Southern Michigan.

You will call on livestock producers, develop new business in targeted geographies, and serve as the local face of the company, communicating value, capabilities, and service

Qualifications

• Experience in on-farm sales is required.

• Knowledge of livestock producers and dairy consultant networks is a plus.

This is a relationship-first role with high autonomy, strong internal support, and a clear focus on long-term growth.

Location: Remote IN or MI

Territory: NE Indiana, Southern Michigan

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Call on livestock producers and strengthen relationships at the farm level
• Build and maintain productive partnerships with independent nutrition consultants
• Develop new business in targeted geographies and help expand market presence
• Serve as the local "face" of the company: communicate value, capabilities, and service model
• Coordinate internally on customer needs, product solutions, service issues, and account execution
• Share market feedback and help shape local strategy (products, programs, positioning)

Qualifications

• Proven success in on-farm sales
• Strong relationship-builder with a consultative, low-ego approach
• Comfortable operating in a consultant-driven market without competing for nutrition/diet formulation
• Self-starter who can manage a large territory and stay organized with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge/understanding of common livestock feed ingredients and solutions
