Introduction

iRobot seeks an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing Americas Sales team. This is a 6-month coverage for a maternity leave. We are looking for an energetic individual with a proven track record of delivering results in a highly competitive landscape. This role will focus on managing accounts like Costco USA and Sam’s Club USA, requiring a deep understanding of the market. The Sales Manager will work closely with the channel marketing team to initiate, execute, and optimize merchandising and marketing strategies.

Location: US – Remote

This is an opportunity for an energetic individual to join our growing Americas Sales team. We are seeking an experienced sales manager for our consumer robot products. In this role, you will manage regional retailers for new and existing accounts while building strategic relationships and driving sales and profitability. As the role progresses, it has the potential to evolve into managing online accounts in the US.

What You Will Do:
  1. Oversee revenue, profit, sell-through, and inventory for the sales territory, focusing on key accounts like Costco USA and Sam’s Club
  2. Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets within budget constraints, leveraging insights from the Mexico market
  3. Identify growth opportunities by innovatively reaching target consumers
  4. Tailor new product launches, initiatives, and promotions to meet the specific needs of Costco USA and Sam’s Club
  5. Deliver regular business reviews and product launches to accounts, ensuring alignment with their strategies
  6. Collaborate closely with Sales Operations and Channel Marketing teams to forecast and manage product requirements
  7. Efficiently collaborate with internal teams
  8. Partner with Channel Marketing to ensure consistent strategies across assortment, merchandising, and promotions, reflecting trends
  9. Develop market opportunity and analysis plans with reseller partners
  10. Continuously analyze the competitive environment and provide timely insights relevant to Costco USA, Sam’s Club, and other key accounts
To Be Successful You Will Have:
  1. 6-8 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a consumer product-focused high-tech company
  2. Must have 6-8 years of retail account experience
  3. Must have 8 years of consumer product experience, preferably with consumer products in floor care/small appliances and/or consumer electronics categories
  4. Strong proven track record of budget/quota delivery
  5. Proven negotiation and closing skills, both at the account and product sales levels
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced proficiency in Excel
  7. Diverse experience supporting sales, operations, trade marketing, category management, and financial analysis
  8. Accountable – takes ownership of business, customers, and relationships
  9. Bachelor’s degree required
  10. Strong analytical and communication skills
  11. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  12. Willing to travel as needed (up to 2 times during the 6-month period)
