Position Summary
A sales manager is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of sales production at the branch level, recruiting new talent, training the mortgage team and developing the sales culture to drive performance.
Essential Job Functions
- Recruit seasoned home loan consultants
- Manage all aspects of sales production
- Manage and train external mortgage team on sales skills and development
- Create business opportunities through external referral sources (i.e., realtors and builders)
- Work closely with referral partners to drive additional business opportunities
- Create a sales culture that will drive top performance
- Manage branch pipeline and file quality by MLOs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years' experience leading sales organizations within the residential lending
- industry is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Valid driver license with a good driving record
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting external loan originators
- Full knowledge of mortgage loan origination systems, specifically Encompass
- Comprehensive experience onboarding and managing external loan originators
- Experience managing a profit & loss, cost center and general ledger
- Strong communication skills including extensive public speaking
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a high energy, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to be resourceful and find alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Basic math aptitude, sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide
