Manasquan Bank is seeking a Residential Loan Servicing Specialist in Wall Township, NJ. The role focuses on mortgage servicing, maintaining high accuracy, and meeting client expectations throughout the loan lifecycle.

The candidate will handle QC reviews, payoff processing, PMI billing, daily reports, and hotline support, while collaborating across Loan Servicing to cover multiple duties and ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of residential/consumer loans and lending documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC loan servicing reviews for residential mortgages, consumer, and ODP loans.
• Prepare payoff request letters and review payoffs; process payoffs via wire/check.
• Process monthly PMI billing, removal and monitoring.
• Generate daily loan reports.
• Process lockbox payments (Deluxe).
• Research and correct loan payment issues.
• Answer the loan servicing hotline and respond to emails.
• Assist with system maintenance and set up (TMS, auto pay).
• Coordinate with Commercial Lending to send paid loans to Iron Mountain quarterly.
• Assist with escrow analysis and client calls.
• Assist clients with insurance claims and checks.
• Process mortgage cancellations and update records.
• Assist with loan modifications.

Residential Loan Servicing Specialist

Non-officer, FT Non-Exempt Wall, NJ, US

Salary Range: $26.00 To $31.00 Hourly

PRIMARY PURPOSE

This Residential Loan Servicing role will require expertise in mortgage servicing, exceptional attention to detail, and commitment to client satisfaction, where we leverage efficient management of loans and borrower's expectations through the entire loan servicing process.

$26.00 - $31.00 an hour | $50,700 - $60,450 Annually

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Quality Control (QC) loan servicing reviews (Residential Mortgages, Consumer, ODP Loans)
• Prepare payoff request letters and review loan payoffs. Process payoffs via wire/check.
• Process monthly PMI Billing, Removal & Monitoring.
• Generate Daily Loan Reports.
• Process lockbox payments (Deluxe).
• Research and correct loan payment issues.
• Process returned payments.
• Answer the loan servicing hotline & respond to Loan servicing emails.
• Assist with system maintenance (Construction to Perm loans, TMS set up, auto pay maintenance).
• Send paid loans in conjunction with Commercial Lending to Iron Mountain quarterly.
• Assist with Escrow Analysis & subsequent client calls.
• Assist clients with Insurance Claims & Checks.
• Process mortgage cancellations through CSC software & update corresponding spreadsheets/folders.
• Assist with Loan Modifications.
• Partner with other Loan Servicing Specialists to learn all aspects of Loan Servicing; each team member will be cross trained in all roles within the Loan Servicing department.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Detailed knowledge of residential/consumer loans and lending documentation.
• Experience with banking software/applications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel and Word
• Great interpersonal skills: ability to interact in an appropriate and timely manner with internal/external clients.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to manage time, resources, and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties.
• Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years of experience within a banking or other financial institution; exposure to residential or consumer lending products
• Working knowledge of residential/consumer loans and lending documentation

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Working conditions are those of an "open" office environment, which can require the ability to manage some stress such as noise level from clients, employees, and general office equipment, etc. Daily use of wrists, hands, and fingers to use computer, telephone, fax, copier, and general office equipment. Ability to hear and speak clearly for gathering information. Sitting for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), standing, and walking up to 20% of work time. Ability to bend and lift coin boxes/bags, up to approximately 30lbs. Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel within the entire branch network.
