Job summary

Valentine Roofing Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a growing team of Project Advisors selling residential exterior remodeling across our markets.

You will report to company leadership, drive sales performance, coach in the field, and help build a scalable sales organization while protecting customer experience and integrity. The role requires 5+ years in residential home improvement sales, including at least 2 years in management, plus travel to serve the company's market areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential home improvement sales experience, including at least 2 years managing and developing a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and residential exterior remodeling.
• Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and sales pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to spend multiple days per week in the field with Project Advisors and to travel throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of Project Advisors.
• Establish performance expectations and accountability around activity, sales results, and customer experience.
• Ensure consistent execution of the company's sales process and collaborate with Marketing, Production, and Finance.
• Monitor KPIs, create forecasts, manage pipeline, and identify sales improvement opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership & Development

• Manages, coaches, and develops a growing team of Project Advisors.
• Conducts coaching sessions, ride-alongs, field training, and team meetings.
• Helps recruit, onboard, and develop future sales leaders.

Performance & Accountability

• Establishes performance expectations and accountability around activity, sales results, customer experience, and professionalism.
• Builds and reinforces a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous development.
• Protects the customer experience while driving growth and performance.

Sales Process & Execution

• Ensures consistent execution of the company's sales process across the team.
• Partners with Marketing, Production, Customer Experience, Finance, and leadership teams.

Sales Management & Performance Tracking

• Monitors KPIs including lead issuance, appointments, close rates, revenue, financing, and cancellations.
• Creates forecasts, manages pipeline performance, and identifies sales improvement opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of residential home improvement sales experience, including at least 2 years managing and developing a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and residential exterior remodeling.
• Demonstrated success improving individual and team sales performance.
• Strong understanding of in-home residential sales and coaching sales professionals through the full sales process.
• Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and sales pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to spend multiple days per week in the field with Project Advisors.
• Ability to travel throughout the company's service area.
• Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets company policy.
• Experience scaling a sales organization, recruiting talent, and implementing repeatable sales processes preferred.

Compensation

• Base Salary: Competitive base salary.
• Bonus: Quarterly performance bonuses.
• Earning Potential: Expected total annual compensation of $150,000 to $250,000.
