Job summary

Trump International Hotel & Tower New York is seeking a Sales Manager with genuine passion, drive, and enthusiasm to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on identifying, prospecting, securing, and managing segments such as Business Travel, Group and Long Term stay guests to meet room night and revenue targets.

The position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and collaborates with the Director of Revenue to align sales strategy with business needs.

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a luxury hotel.
• Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Hotelligence, Lanyon and Opera.

Responsibilities

• Generating hotel awareness through direct phone, email, and in-person sales efforts, as well as host familiarization trips, site inspections, and entertaining.
• Attend trade shows and industry events, and evaluate effectiveness to ensure a proper return on investment.
• Build effective relationships with both traditional and luxury consortia accounts as well as travel agencies domestically and globally.
• Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing on the development of the hotel’s marketing plan.
• Responsible for developing and updating strategic action plans to achieve established goals.
• Review monthly production and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business.
• Accurately maintain and build the Salesforce database of clients.
• Work collaboratively with regional and global offices to drive awareness and revenues from respective regions.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the hotel’s Director of Revenue to ensure that the sales strategy is in line with the hotel’s business needs.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Salary Range: $70,000 – 85,000
