Full Time * Garden City Park, NY

Leading food distributor is seeking a Sales Manager to develop new business and identify new revenue generating opportunities for the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage current clients and develop new food distributors in the New York City Metro and Long Island territories
• Manage a team of sales representatives
• Utilize sales reporting, on-line research, event leads, and other resources
• Review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual region sales and annual budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is required
• 5 years of experience in sales within the food industry; 1+ year supervisory experience
• Strong sales and account management skills are a must
• Effective negotiating, organizational, time, and project management skills will be expected
• This position requires on-site presence, therefore only local candidates within a 20-30 mile radius from Garden City Park, NY will be considered
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Suite
