Job summary

The Fairfax Marriott, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive hotel sales across multiple market segments. The role requires a detail-oriented, sales-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in hotel sales.

As a full-time manager, you will conduct site inspections, maximize revenue, develop persuasive client presentations, and manage account details from solicitation to closing. Marriott systems experience is preferred.

The Fairfax Marriott is seeking an energetic, outgoing and experienced individual to fill the position of Sales Manager.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would need to be detail-oriented, sales-driven, and dedicated to our clients' needs and expectations. This is achieved through excellent communication skills, creative and detailed planning, and a commitment to meeting and exceeding our clients' goals and expectations. Previous Hotel Sales experience is required, and Marriott hotel systems is preferred! Candidate should have demonstrated a proven track record of success in hotel sales.

This sales position would require the candidate to handle various market segments to include: Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal, Association and Government markets. Candidate must have an impeccable work ethic to go above and beyond for our clients and guests. This position would also require you to move throughout our property to conduct site inspections, maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form, to previous, current, and potential clients, resolve problems, provide open communication, and make recommendations when necessary; handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented; develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients; and prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.

As an associate of the Fairfax Marriott, you will also be an associate of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing hospitality management companies. As a full-time manager, you will be eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, on the first of the month following your first day of work. You will also be eligible for participation in our 401(k) program after 6 months of employment.
