Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a hospitality-driven Sales Manager to oversee sales operations and drive Membership Dues and Base Growth across the area. Responsibilities include supervising Fitness Advisors, prospecting, staff training, and member retention to achieve revenue goals.

Role involves hiring, training, and evaluating staff, coordinating with leadership, and maintaining policies to support facility growth and service quality. On-site work in Boulder, CO with weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 60 days of start date
• Experience in cash handling and credit card transactions
• Member service abilities

Responsibilities

• Seek new and existing memberships to exceed sales goals by phone, outside sales, and current member retention
• Report daily with Club General Manager and Regional Manager on goals and outflow
• Conduct daily sales meetings with club Sales team
• Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, and direct staff; evaluate performance and provide rewards/discipline
• Ensure effective orientation and training for new team members
• Attend all staff and club meetings and events
• Maintain professional relationships with staff
• Maintain and update sales policies and procedures
• Monitor membership revenues and goals
• Collaborate with retention departments to ensure high participation
• Ensure timely completion of required documentation
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking hospitality driven Sales Managers. This role will ensure the financial growth and sales performance in the area of Membership Dues and Membership Base Growth by overseeing all aspects of the sales operations. Execution and inspection of all sales operations including the activities of all Fitness Advisors as well as all sales related functions including prospecting, staff training, new members sales and member retention.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Seek new and existing memberships to exceed sales goals by phone, outside sales, and current member retention
• Report and communicate daily with Club General Manager as well as Regional Manager on achievement of goals and outflow
• Conduct daily sales meetings to discuss performance and objectives with club Sales team
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining staff
• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new team member
• Attend all staff and club meetings and events
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff
• Maintain and update sales policies and procedures
• Always know and be aware of club Membership revenues and goals
• Works closely with retention departments to ensure high participation in the facilities
• Ensures that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.

Job Requirements
