We are a fast-growing Bentonville-based Sales Agency, providing Sales Advisory & Retail Sales Management solutions for our diverse client portfolio. We work closely with our CPG clients to provide advice and execution excellence across the Walmart & Sam’s Club enterprise. Our growing client base ranges from native D2C brands to century-old, family-owned businesses, including 2 of the top 100 insurgent brands as ranked by Bain Capital.
Position Summary:
The Sales Manager will be a key driver of growth for our clients’ business with Walmart and Sam’s Club. This role focuses on strategic advisory, data-driven insights, and collaborative execution to optimize sales and market share. The Sales Manager will not only manage relationships but also act as a consultant to both our clients and the Walmart Team, providing expert guidance on sales strategy, promotional effectiveness, and supply chain optimization. This is a role for an analytical thinker and strategic partner who is dedicated to delivering tangible results for our clients.
Job Results & Essential Functions:
1. Client & Retailer Advisory:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both our client brands and the Walmart Team, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and potential challenges for our clients.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions with clients to develop and refine sales strategies.
- Utilize advanced analytics to evaluate sales performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies.
- Develop and present comprehensive performance reports to clients and internal teams, highlighting key insights and opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients to refine promotional strategies based on data analysis and market insights.
3. Relationship & Collaboration:
- Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart and with our client brands.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between clients and Walmart.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Lead joint business planning and review sessions, focusing on data-driven insights and strategic alignment.
- Identify and champion new opportunities for growth within the Walmart ecosystem for our clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Contribute to the development of innovative sales solutions and strategies for our diverse client portfolio.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new clients, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5+ years of experience with Walmart and experience in a sales agency or consulting role is highly preferred.

- Advanced Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation.
- Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain optimization and inventory management.
- Technical Proficiency: High level of expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
