Job summary

York Building Products is seeking a highly organized Sales and Logistics Coordinator to support the Aggregate Division’s sales, customer service, and operations. The role links outside sales, customers, scale house personnel, dispatch, operations, and accounting to ensure accurate pricing, quotations, and order entry.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction materials

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative coordination in construction materials or related industries.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn ERP, dispatch, ticketing, and related systems.
• Experience with aggregates, ready-mix, asphalt, or trucking/logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with questions, pricing, quotes, and orders.
• Prepare and send customer quotations using approved pricing.
• Enter customer orders and verify pricing and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with dispatch, plants, transportation, and sales to keep orders moving.
• Communicate product availability and delivery schedules to customers and sales.
• Assist with receiving vendor deliveries and matching deliveries with purchase orders.
• Keep records and data organized and accurate.
